Commission

Mortgage Brokers are paid in accordance to the mortgage amount. Each lender deicides what they offer as a "finder's fee" and it can change depending on the length of the mortgage term. How much a broker makes all depends how many mortgages they arrange, the mortgage balances and the split they pay to their brokerage they are licensed under. In most scenarios, it does not cost the client ANYTHING to use a mortgage broker.
