Snowmobiling: where adventure meets winter’s wonder.

British Columbia is known for being one of the best spots for snowmobiling in Canada, maybe even in the world. Only 25 minutes from Salmon Arm, you’ll find the mecca of snowmobiling in British Columbia. The rugged terrain around Sicamous is what people drive across the country and fly in for. This area experiences huge amounts of snow and big mountain energy all winter long!

Owlhead
Three minutes from downtown Sicamous you will find the beautiful Owlhead chalet. Owlhead riding is higher altitude, expansive terrain but with something for everyone. Bring supplies and fuel if you are adventuring for a while. This is a very popular spot for locals and non-locals.

Queest Mountain
Enjoy easy riding on a groomed forestry road leading to a warming hut. Beyond the warming hut experience open meadows terrain and large hills for climbing. Bask in the views of Shuswap and Mara Lake.

Eagle Pass
A staggering annual average of 40 feet of snow gives Eagle Pass a worthy reputation of being a showstopper. The vast expanse and high mountain peaks are an experienced sledder’s dream. Bundle up and have all your emergency supplies because there is no warming hut.

Blue Lake
Steep with secret spots of untouched powder, Blue Lake is just 15 minutes east of Sicamous. This area does, however, have trails, hills and open meadows for all levels and abilities. Enjoy the Blue Lake Chalet donated by Dave Miku for a quick warm up or meeting area. For sfatey it is important to always check in at the chalet before heading out for a day of adventure.

Have fun and be safe!
