Hitch a ride up, fresh tracks down.

You can catski in Canada, USA, New Zeland, Chile and Europe, but cat skiing was invented right here in British Columbia and there is no better place to experience the wild, remarkable terrain and experience of backcountry skiing. Often for a cheaper price than heliskiing. Cat skiing operations consist of a lead guide, tail guide and a cat driver, all making sure the guest’s experiences are unforgettable and safe. Your guides will choose the safest place to ski depending on that day’s weather conditions. This list does not include any snowcat operations that operate out of Golden, Ferine, Rossland, Nelson ect but there is a list must longer than this one! These are the closest operations to our Salmon Arm and Revelstoke offices.

K3 Cat Skiing
K3 has a meeting point at The Last Spike, between Sicamous and Revelstoke. This area averages about 50 feet of snow every year, and their local guides know just where to take you! K3 has two timber-frame lodges in the Monashee mountains, where the private chef will cook all your meals while you relax in front of the fireplace after an epic day of powder. Wake up to fresh baking and hot coffee, pile into the cat that has been preloaded with your gear, and head into the backcountry for legendary powder and epic days, without the crowds of the resort. What could be better?! Visit www.greatnorthernsnowcar.com for all rates and availability.
