T4

A T4 is a document you receive from your employer stating your total income earned for the year. In addition to the T4 your employer gives you, you can also get a copy off the myCRA portal. This copy will look a little bit different but if shows the client’s name and employer name, you’re good to go! Employers must provide you with our T4 by a certain time of the year. Each year the day fluctuates a bit, but it is usually between March and the end of April.
