Because of the internet, we can work with you from, well just about anywhere actually! We used to do the same thing by fax 20 years ago, but since no one really likes fax – least of all us – we have happily since moved to email and the cloud.

Tekamar is licensed to broker mortgages from British Columbia, but are able to work with properties across Canada. That being said, we know Western Canada best, and in particular British Columbia, but have never been afraid to tackle a deal in Alberta or even Saskatchewan.

Salmon Arm

Our head office is located in Salmon Arm, BC and we have been working as a Mortgage Broker in Salmon Arm for over 35 years. Because of this, we’ve come to really get to know this region, its quirks and the in’s and out’s to getting people the best mortgage possible on a property in Salmon Arm.

The Shuswap

The Cottage Country of BC! Because Salmon Arm is the hub of the Shuswap, we’ve been working with clients, family and friends and arranging their mortgages all over the Shuswap and its surrounding communities. This includes doing mortgages in Sorrento, Sicamous, The North Shore,  and anywhere else within 30km of the Shuswap lake itself.

Revelstoke

Our company founder has been playing in Revelstoke on weekends for the last 15 years. He loves it so much he became president of the Revelstoke Ski Club for 5 years and still actively volunteers there. With his ear on the ground, the team members have come to love and appreciate the beautiful town of Revelstoke and have done many mortgages there as a result. If you’re looking to get a cabin/condo there to take advantage of its spectacular skiing, second homes are one of our specialties.

Kamloops and the Thompson Valley

Kamloops is for whatever reason, unrepresented for Mortgage Brokers. While there are certainly some fantastic people working there, there just isn’t many and with a city of over 100,000 people, that can make those few already there really busy and a bit overwhelmed. We’re trying to help fix. Although Tekamar Mortgages hasn’t arranged quite as many conventional bank mortgages in the region as it has Salmon Arm, it has lent millions of its own private money there and has come to know the area because of it. If you’re in Kamloops and looking for a Mortgage Broker, we’re here to help. If you’d rather not drive the hour to see us in person, we arrange about a third of our clients mortgages over phone and email, so you don’t have to – we’re here to make it easy for you.

The Rest of British Columbia

Did you know we’ve done mortgages from Fort St. John (Actually, we do them quite regularly here) to Sparwood? Like we said, we know BC Mortgages from the Lower Mainland, to Vancouver Island all the way to Crowsnest Pass. Not in BC or happen to be a friendly neighbor from next door in Alberta?
